Nr 250 Gluten-free flour 17 different! ...(why do you still use a wheat flour what Is the wallpaper glue???)

Amaranth (eng)- Amarant(swe) - Rebashein(est) - Amaranthus(esp)

Egenskaperna i bakning liknar havremjöl.

Millet(eng)-Hirs(swe)-Hirss(est) -Mijo(esp)

Victoria Boutenko, Elaina Love, and Chad Sarno have been leaders in the raw food movement since the 1990s. Each of them maintained and promoted the 100 percent raw diet for years. Since then, all three have independently arrived at the same conclusion: that a totally raw diet is not necessarily the best diet. One reason for their shift in thinking is the latest scientific research on the impact of omega essential fatty acids on human health. Studies show that if eaten in excess, omega-6s can cause inflammation and obesity. A typical raw food diet contains large quantities of nuts and seeds, most of which are extremely high in omega-6s and low in omega-3s.
Raw foodists are not the only ones lacking sufficient omega-3s in their diet. Because omega-3s are easily damaged by heat, anyone whose diet is high in processed foods and oils probably has an omega-3 deficiency. Many symptoms of this deficiency can be mistaken for other health problems or nutrient deficiencies, so few people realize the cause of their ailments. Boutenko's chapters on omegas provide readers more in-depth nutritional information. One hundred recipes--from raw to steamed and lightly cooked dishes, from appetizers to desserts--offer readers the means to enjoy a more sustainable, healthy, and energetic lifestyle.

Using lively stories from her vast experience leading healing retreats, best-selling author Victoria Boutenko guides readers on the adventure of how to organize and carry out their own green smoothie programs with friends and family. Boutenko explains that the detoxifying and healing properties of drinking green smoothies are at their most effective after a full seven days, and she shares a number of testimonials and letters from participants in her popular retreats giving voice to the healthful transformations they realized. In "Green Smoothie Retreat, " the reader will find recommendations for fun group activities, nutritional information, and recipes for a seven-day revitalizing retreat. This book can be used by novices and experts alike, since it covers the basics about green smoothies and also goes into great depth about intriguing subjects such as the key healing properties of greens, analysis of water, and vital nutrients that enhance health.

Nr 246 Grandma´s remedie works

So, you know how there are always crazy old wives' tales that seem too good to be true, and don't seem to make sense logically, yet they still somehow work? Well, this is one of those things. People swear by it. Let me give you the lowdown on the ground-breaking onion and sock situation.
The bottom of your feet are said to be linked to your internal organs. Parts of the feet have a corresponding link to another part of your body.
Because we are often wearing shoes, those points on the feet are rarely stimulated, which means that the electrical circuits linking feet and body are often dormant.
You can open up these pathways and help to purify your internal organs by doing one simple thing while you sleep.
Onion and garlic are known to be powerful in fighting germs and bacteria when applied topically. One way to purify your organs while you sleep is to put a slice of onion in your sock while you sleep.
Here is how to do it:

Step 1: Cut an onion into a slice.

You're going to want to make sure that it is an organic onion so that you don't have pesticides on your feet the whole night. You'll also want the onion to be a flat slice.

Step 2: Place the onion in your socks on the flat part of your feet

As you sleep, the healing properties of the onion will be absorbed up into your feet, stimulating all of those points on your feet that are linked with internal organs.

The Benefits...

The benefits that are supposed to come with doing this are as follows:
1. Your blood will be purified. Phosphoric acid from the onions will be absorbed and will purify your blood.
2. Bacteria and germs will be killed.
3. Make your feet smell better (believe it or not) by pulling out the toxins and chemicals and purifying the air around.
Who knew that something so simple could be so beneficial for your health? It's a cheap and easy way to help your body.
